Audi S4 Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 given 100% (235-40-18-W)
Driving on mostly country roads for 10000 spirited miles
This is by far the best performance tire that can be purchaced on the market. I have had a tire from almost every manufacturer and none compare. Excellent traction on dry pavement and the tire just blasts through deep puddles on the highway with little to no hydroplaning. Being an aggesive driver I would definatly recommend this tire to anyone that wants good performance. Expensive but totaly worth it.

Driving on a combination of roads for 4 spirited miles
Run these on my 500+ bhp Audi S4 Quattro.
I have ran the Rosso’s Before. Fantastic tyre. Tyre is rated as a AO spec.
Car is driven hard! Took the car to Europe 175-180 mph and no issues.
Tyres have been on 3 years and have covered a very hard 4500 miles. Still on 5mm.

Great tyre.

Writing about the Accelera Alpha given 90% (235-40-18-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 10 spirited miles
I had them fitted to my 2006 Audi S4 Avant and was very sceptical at first. Having said that 10,000 miles later I had completely changed my mind as I could not reaaly fault them. Since then I have had them fitted to my 1999 Porsche 996 (saved £650) and my wifes 2006 Audi TT. No ditches no hairy moments and a comfortable ride with acceptable wear levels that more than compensate for the loss in mileage compared to more expensive tyres. Reading the reviews below I could not really say that there was any noticeable difference in either wet or dry handling compared to the Pirelli's and Dunlop's prevoiusly fitted. I should say that I am no "Test Pilot" and that I was not using them on track days... just every day driving!

Writing about the Infinity INF 05 given 90% (235-40-18-W)
Driving on mostly motorways for 2000 spirited miles
Excellent value for money. I have an S4 so was unsure at first what with everybody saying you must buy premium with a V8 - what a crock... These tyres are quiet, have great dry grip and are excellent in the wet. Have put them through their paces and am very impressed. Dont listen to the tyre snobs.....

Writing about the GT Radial Champiro HPY given 86% (255-35-19-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 2500 spirited miles
The GT Radial Champiro HPY's were a curiosity, lying unloved at the
tyre dealer, and i took a chance considering i was quoted a fantastic price.

My Audi S4 Avant 3.0T had come with Dunlop SP Sports, and
frankly were shockingly prone to aquaplaning as well as being characterless.

The GT Radial has a much better slow speed ride, bump absorption as well
as great, progressive handling and grip characteristics at 7-8/10ths.

There's a bit more tyre roar and rumble vs the Dunlops, though.
At less than 1/2 the Dunlop's MSRP, i'd recommend these Indonesian
tyres 100% for those looking for a superb sporty tyre. Might be i've found
my default trackday tyre!

PS-Temperatures handled by tyres range from 20-45deg C.
