Ford Mondeo Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Avon ZV7 given 100% (225-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 18000 average miles
Fitted a new set of these tyres to my Mondeo 2.5 v6 in early 2017 and have done about 18,000 miles since. Wear - They are just about due for changing on the front but I can't complain at all about the wear as I tend to be a little more heavy footed. Back ones have around 1/2 left.
Handling - Amazing, the turn in is so direct and they grip all day long. In the wet they are fantastic, never had wheel spin or lack of grip even with the high power through the front wheels.
Noise - Well as far as i can say they're pretty much silent, I never hear any tyre roar.
Value for money - Spot on, can't complain when I paid £70 a corner at the time.
All weather - ironically i managed to get up a slope to my house in light snow no problem at all! I'm not for one minute saying they're winter tyres but they got me a small incline from flat standstill!
In the wet, I've read these tyres aren't quite up to the mark but in reality (certainly on my car) they are fantastic and you even feel the confidence through the wheel that they will grip exceptionally through sharp turns and when braking.
Performance off the line - I had some poor landsails on before and the difference was astonishing when I changed, the car felt so much more agile through bends and responsive. Excellent.

Overall I would 100% recommend these tyres and having experienced 'premium' tyres such as Continental or Pirelli, would say the price upgrade is not worth considering as they perform just as well in all conditions.

Driving on a combination of roads for 1500 average miles
I work as a taxi driver so if i dont drive i dont earn.
I bought two front tyres for my ford mondeo.(205/55/16)
I have driven through heavy snow, black ice and slush and had no problems.
Have also encountered motorways, country roads, back streets and hills with no loss of grip.
Would definetely recommend these tyres.

Mondeo Estate 2.0 TDCi 130HP

40k on the fronts, rears have done 70k and have plenty of life left in them. Will be buying these again, assuming Pirelli still make them by the time these wear out!

Driving on mostly country roads for 25000 easy going miles
Great! Got them on a 1991 1.8 Mondeo I don't kill it anywhere so grip is always good, I do about 5000 miles a year and have had them on for 5 years. Bargain, good even where as well. Looking to get 2 more for the front but can't find any only just started though. Perhaps their was a bit of diesel about for the other drivers to lose grip or wet after a long dry period.

Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 average miles
Third review of these tyres a further 6 months on. Definately the very best tyres I have ever had on a car. Avons, Continentals and Pirellis before. I am baffled at the negative comments in some reviews. I do not push my vehicle/ tyres anywhere near the limit, maybe that is why for me this is the perfect touring tyre. Also I have the XL version which are definately not "jelly like". I will buy again without hesitation.

The grip from these tyres is amazing i also found them to be very good in the wet which is a bonus as these are summer tyres. Road feedback is spot on and are very comfortable to drive on. These are so much better than the conti sport 3 tyres that were on the car and i had them from new. The PS3 is in another league i don't think the other big brands can come close to these with their flagship model tyres 5 stars to michelin for the PS3.

Best tyres I have ever had. They give so much confidence when driving the car and if you need to do emergency maneuvers be it in rain, snow, ice, dry they never fail. I have just purchased a new set of these tyres and after having to rush to the hospital in the pouring rain to save a friends eyesight I can say these tyres are definitely worth every penny. I have now had 2 sets of these and never plan to use anything different again. These tyres should be made a standard for all cars because the performance is unparalleled (speaking from experience). I may be biased but even other Bridgestone tyres do not come close. With the severe unpredictable weather conditions we now get in the UK I recommend these to friends and family on a weekly basis.

A super tyre in all conditions! Ive had many tyres from the leading makes over the years, pirelli, goodyear, michelin, avon, verdestien and I cxan honestly say that these tyres are the best all round ive ever had. the only ones that matched them in the wet were the verdestien ones I had (ive forgotten which ones they were). They are super in the wet giving super confidence on a very wet motorway for example and also they are good in the snow, no more silly summer tyres for snow driving, these tyres just grip with no problems. I dont think for my Mondeo that I will look at another set of summer tyres from any manufacturer again and will deffintaly be putting another set of these on the backs when my pirelli rear tyres wear down as I only have these A001s on the front at the momment.
